Breakfast Club prepares second Sacramento-area location
Breakfast Club is preparing to occupy the former Range Midtown space at 1813 Capitol Avenue in Sacramento. Signage at the property identifies the breakfast-and-lunch concept as the incoming tenant. The company, which has operated locations in the Bay Area, is also planning a Folsom restaurant, although an opening date for the Midtown site has not been announced.
Why it matters: The move brings another daytime-focused operator to Midtown and represents a relatively quick transition for a prominent restaurant space.

The Posh Bagel plans Yuba City location
The Posh Bagel is listed as “coming soon” to 747 Colusa Avenue in Yuba City. Founded in 1992 by Jeffrey Ottoveggio, the regional bagel and café company already operates in communities including Roseville, Folsom and Davis. A specific Yuba City opening date was not available.
Why it matters: The project extends an established regional brand into the Yuba–Sutter market and adds another quick-service breakfast and lunch operator to the Colusa Avenue corridor.

The City of Davis says businesses using the public realm for commerce were required to comply with its Downtown Outdoor Dining Program by July 1, 2026. The program applies to outdoor dining and other commerce in public space in the downtown area.
Why it matters: Restaurants using sidewalks, parklets, or other public-space dining areas in Davis may need to confirm permit status, layout requirements, and program compliance.
