The California Restaurant Association is excited to announce partnership with Class Action Capital, a market leader in managing class action settlement claims.  CRA partnered with Class Action Capital to assist members navigate the claims process and perform the heavy lifting with data analysis and claim management for active class action settlements.

Class Action Capital specializes in the research, data collection and filing of complex class action settlement claims.  Their goal is to limit the amount of time and internal resources you would spend if you filed independently.  While information on class action settlements is publicly available and no one is required to work with a third-party service in order to participate, the difficulty for claimants is understanding which settlements are financially beneficial and what data will be required by the court administrator.  Class Action Capital operates on a contingency fee basis with no upfront costs or filing charges and adheres to strict confidentiality guidelines.

CRA Members will receive the 15% contingency rate for the Visa/Mastercard Settlement when signing up through this link: https://www.classactioncapital.com/cases/calrestaurants

The Payment Card Interchange Fee Settlement resolves allegations that VISA, MasterCard and their issuing banks violated the law by setting excessive interchange fees to merchants.  The proposed settlement will be $5.54 – $6.24 billion and affects all merchants who accepted VISA or MasterCard branded credit or debit cards between January 1, 2004 – January 25. 2019.
