San Diego, CA – The California Restaurant Association, San Diego Chapter is excited to announce the upcoming High School Hospitality Conference, scheduled for Wednesday March 13, from 9:15 am-1:45 pm at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.

Dedicated to nurturing the next generation of hospitality professionals, the conference will welcome hundreds of local high school students eager to explore career opportunities in the dynamic culinary and tourism sectors. Luis Barrios, Founder of the Conference and GM of Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Island, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Once again, after 26 years of doing so, we look forward to hosting our high school students, offering them a window into the wonderful world of Hospitality.”

San Diego High School Hospitality Conference will bring together approximately 500 students and industry professionals at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, located in Embarcadero Marina Park South.

The annual event aims to benefit students who are currently enrolled in hospitality and culinary programs. Attendees from 16 high schools in the region will get an opportunity to explore various career paths and gain valuable insights through guided tours of prominent hotels and restaurants.

The success of the conference is made possible through the generous support of key partners, including San Diego Gas & Electric and the San Diego County Lodging Association. Their commitment underscores the importance of investing in the development of future hospitality leaders.
