California law requires every foodservice establishment to have at least one employee who holds Food Protection Manager Certification. The exam will be administered at the end of the review session and includes 90 multiple-choice questions. Certification must be renewed every five years.

It is highly recommended that participants register for the full class that includes the Sixth Edition ServSafe Essentials Textbook.

Once registered, registrants will receive a confirmation including payment information that can be used as receipt. Full-day course participants will receive a book and confirmation via UPS. Other registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail.
