COCA-COLA RETURNS AS TITLE SPONSOR OF ANNUAL COOKING FACE-OFF

For a second year, the Coca-Cola Corporation has generously agreed to be the title sponsor for the Culinary Clash event at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo, adding to the more than $70,000 raised during this year's event.
In a new Culinary Clash: Battle Los Angeles gold-level sponsorship, web solutions company MoPro and restaurant supplier US Foods will join the fight.
Also new this year is ProAct, a nationwide food supplier that will provide pantry ingredients to the competing teams, and yet-to-be-revealed secret ingredients each competing team must use in their culinary creations.
Ecolab, a sliver-level sponsor, will again present an award for safety and sanitation practices. Other silver sponsors include Heartland Payment Systems and the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo.
Bronze-level sponsors include Cargill, Dart, Mercer, Monin, ServSafe, and the Jerry and Maggie Schubert Family Foundation.
Culinary Clash: Battle Los Angeles is a cooking competition where restaurant teams and ProStart student chefs test their skills in the ultimate battle of culinary prowess and bragging rights. The event takes place at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo, California's premier food industry show.
