Sacramento Regional Restaurant Week to debut in October

Dozens of restaurants from throughout the area offer unique meals and special prices

The Sacramento Chapter of the California Restaurant Association (CRA) is proud to announce the first region-wide Restaurant Week for the greater Sacramento area. This two week long event – October 1st to 14th – will feature dozens of restaurants located throughout the region. This is a unique culinary experience as participating restaurants offer three-course meals at three limited time price points: $15, $30, and $40 per person.

“This is a chance for restaurants in Sacramento, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom and everywhere in between to celebrate our regions status as a home for both culinary innovation and first-rate dining experiences,” said Bobby Coyote, CEO of Dos Coyotes Border Café and the President of CRA’s Sacramento Chapter. “Restaurant Week is a chance to remind our patrons why they love coming out to eat and to show new customers what our restaurants have to offer.”

By visiting www.sacregionalrestaurantweek.com, customers can learn which restaurants are participating at the three different fixed price menu levels and to preview the specials that restaurants will be offering their customers during Restaurant Week.

“Sacramento is blessed with a rich heritage in food and agriculture that many restaurateurs look to carry on and share with their customers every day,” said Collin Fat, Director of Operations for Fat’s Restaurants and an organizer of the Sacramento Regional Restaurant Week. “By giving our customers two weeks to dine out at three different price points, we hope to give people a taste of the diverse flavors, cultures, and flavors that our industry has to offer to fit every budget.”

Participating restaurants include: Devere’s Irish Pub, Mikuni, Fat City, Biba, Chicago Fire, Sienna, Dos Coyotes, Pizza Rock, Ink and many more.  Sponsors of the 2012 Restaurant Week include: American Express, Pepsi, General Produce Company, Sacramento Magazine, Grub Groupie, Style Magazines and Sysco Foods.
