FoodVoice to make its industry debut at WFHE

Show attendees can ‘show off their app’ for a chance to win an iPad

(SACRAMENTO – Aug. 6, 2012) – The California Restaurant Association’s (CRA)  FoodVoice app will make its grand industry debut at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo (WFHE) Aug. 12-14 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Representatives will be at booth No. 1567 throughout the show to inform restaurant operators about the free dynamic smartphone app.

Attendees who have downloaded the app are invited to enter a drawing for a free iPad at the show.

“We’re looking forward to connecting with our target audience at the show,” CRA President + CEO Jot Condie said. “FoodVoice has the potential to radically change the way the CRA serves the industry – and we can’t wait to introduce operators to this new technology.”

FoodVoice sends quick, periodic surveys to restaurateurs via their mobile devices, asking them to sound off about the challenges they face each day. The data and insights gathered from California operators through FoodVoice allows the CRA to better represent the industry in advocacy efforts, as well as in developing products and resources to help its members run their businesses better.

To get started, operators should download the app to their phone, create a new user profile and answer a few demographics questions. FoodVoice will send notifications when new surveys are available.

For more information, go online at calrest.org/foodvoice or stop by booth No. 1567 at WFHE.
