CRA partners with MasterCard to support California restaurants with new insights offerings
(SACRAMENTO, Aug. 1, 2012) -- MasterCard has announced an initiative to offer CRA members a range of creative programs and business intelligence solutions to optimize, streamline and grow their businesses. The relationship will initially focus on tools delivered by MasterCard Advisors’ Information Services division including California Restaurant Reports and Market Vision Report.
“The restaurant industry is vital to the California economy, with 1.4 million workers and more than $58 billion in sales annually,” said Andy Mantis, senior vice president, MasterCard Advisors. “In our relationship with CRA, we’ll provide member restaurants with the resources and insights to identify market opportunities and improve decision making to help build thriving enterprises.”
The monthly California Restaurant Reports, developed exclusively for the CRA, analyze extensive purchasing data to provide insights into restaurant level econometrics and trends, such as changes in sales, average ticket prices, and customer frequency across fast-casual, casual and family dining restaurants.
Market Vision Report is designed to provide restaurants with a new understanding of their business and customers by demonstrating a restaurant location’s strengths and weaknesses relative to their competitive set.
“Working with MasterCard is another example of our focus on developing relationships with innovative, best-in-class business providers,” said CRA president and CEO Jot Condie. “We believe our CRA members will strongly benefit from the business and market insights MasterCard can deliver and we appreciate the access to their creative programming, which is a hallmark of the MasterCard franchise.”
