Balestreri named CRA Educational Foundation chairman of the board
The California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (CRAEF) is pleased to announce the installment of Theodore Balestreri II, director of hospitality and lodging at Cannery Row Management Co., as its chairman of the board. He succeeded Past Chairman James Martin.
An industry veteran, Balestreri’s career in the hospitality industry has included roles in foodservice, hotel management and manufacturing kitchen-based products. Balestreri currently oversees a diverse mix of properties in the Monterey area, including a collection of boutique hotels, restaurants and retail shops.
“The Foundation is instrumental to the industry in California at it seeks to grow and evolve,” Balestreri said. “We are aiming to enlist even more industry support in the coming year as we broaden our reach and the number of California youth who are passionate about pursuing a career in the foodservice and hospitality field.
