Anyone who donated at least $5 was rewarded with a voucher for a free Charburger with cheese from the Habit Burger Grill.
Booth sponsorships by the CRA Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego chapters brought the total raised at the show to more than $8,600.
“We are honored by Habit’s steadfast support of the Foundation through this campaign and other efforts,” CRAEF Executive Director Alycia Harshfield said. “Together, we’ve been able to raise more than $30,000 for youth culinary and hospitality management programs across California, creating real change in the lives of the participating students.”
In its fourth year, the campaign is executed by CRAEF staff and local ProStart students who share their experiences with foodservice professionals attending the show.
