Los Angeles-based law firm Lathrop & Gage will host its annual Food & Hospitality Roundtable in partnership with the California Restaurant Association (CRA) Los Angeles chapterat 2 p.m. July 31 at the Luxe Hotel.
Discussion topics will include rising class-action lawsuits concerning menu items labelled 'healthy' with David Bernard, and employment law topics with Beth Schroder, both partners at Lathrop & Gage. The latter seminar will also include information on the latest developments of the Affordable Care Act.
Industry insights for this year will be provided by Russ Bendel, president of the Habit Burger Grill. Steven Johnson, director of operations at Ctuit Software will demonstrate using technology solutions to avoid employee and manager theft.
