“We couldn’t be happier with the support we saw for the Foundation and our ProStart programs,” Foundation Executive Director Alycia Harshfield said. “The turnout by the industry, service providers and show attendees exceeded our expectations and made the event a massive success.”
In all, more than $45,000 was raised for the Foundation. Yard House Restaurants took home the top Purse prize for raising $2,500 for the cause.
The Daily Grill took home both the Coke Champ award, for most creative incorporation of a Coke product, and the Golden Gloves award for best taste and presentation. The team prepared a scallop ravioli amuse bouche with melted cabbage and Fanta beurre blanc. Its entrée was a Coke-marinated lamb chops with Indian-spiced cauliflower and spicy Coke caramel drizzle, served with a ginger and cucumber Sprite mocktail.
