It will be a very active year in terms of legislative proposals that impact the restaurant community- ranging from mandated double pay for holiday work, $13 minimum wages, accounting for tips in minimum wage calculations, and Americans with Disabilities Act lawsuit abuse reform.
Lobby Day will take place at a critical point in the legislative timeline when many proposals are facing key votes to determine their fate for this legislative year. Your participation will help shape the conversation on policy issues and determine the fate on a number of legislative bills that will adversely or positively affect your business.
Additionally, we are excited to invite you to our post-Lobby Day reception, "Crave the Experience." This even provides for additional opportunities to engage with industry colleagues, legislators and legislative staff. De Vere's, Mayahuel, The Melting Pot, Mikuni and Wedgewood at the Sterling Hotel will graciously be providing delicious food highlighting the local restaurant community. Enjoy small bites, hosted wine and Karl Strauss beer, and wonderful music by Ryan Hernandez and Kaz all while continuing conversations with your elected officials and fellow attendees.
