Now, she will be on the other side of the judges' podium, joining Brad Metzger of Brad Metzger Restaurant Solutions and judges from sponsors Coca-Cola, Ecolab, Pro*Act and US Foods to select the best of the best from 10 participating restaurant company teams.
The teams will consist of executive chefs and ProStart® students. Teams will be judged on overall taste and presentation of an amuse-bouche and entree, use of Coca-Cola products, use of special secret ingredients and preparation and station cleanliness. Teams will have 45 minutes from start to finish and two butane burners to prepare their meals.
The Culinary Clash: Battle Los Angeles takes place from 3 to5 p.m. Aug. 18 at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Culinary Clash attendees can gain free entry to the show.
