The exciting event brings together talented high school students from ProStart programs across California who are the future of the restaurant and foodservice industry. An Education and Business Expo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday will feature higher education institutions and potential employers recruiting students. All events are open to the public and media.
Culinary teams will have just 60 minutes to prepare a three-course meal using two butane burners. Management teams will present a proposal for a new restaurant concept, including a supporting menu, a marketing plan and a detailed design.
