The campuses benefitting from the donation are Bonita High School in La Verne, Applied Technology Center in Montebello, Westchester High in Los Angeles, Blair High School in Pasadena, Santee Education Complex, Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, Bell Gardens High School and Rowland High School.
The restaurant is giving smallwares to the eight schools, items that include appetizer plates, soup bowls, ramekins, small plates, large plates, various sized and shaped platters. The company also plans to include silverware in the donation.
Jason Zhang, manager at the Arcadia restaurant, is credited with arranging the donations to the schools. He was recognized at Tuesday's Experience Hospitality Summit at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Zhang has in the past donated similar items to the Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona.
