WFHE attendees eager to be heard with help from FoodVoice

More than 250 attendees at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo (WFHE) downloaded FoodVoice, as they celebrated the launch of the free app, which creators say could fundamentally change the way the California Restaurant Association represents the restaurant industry.
“As we search for how to have constant, in-depth communication with California restaurant operators, we believe FoodVoice will be key to improving the way we advocate for the industry,” CRA President + CEO Jot Condie said.
Though FoodVoice downloads spiked during the show, it’s important that new users create and account and complete demographics information so only the most relevant short surveys are sent to them, Condie said.
“We never intend to inundate people’s phones, and we want to make sure users are having a positive experience, so feedback is welcome and critical to our mission,” Condie said.
WFHE attendees were invited to “show off their app” at the FoodVoice booth, where app users were rewarded with iPhone gramophones, T-shirts and the chance to enter a drawing for an iPad, as well as restaurant gift cards.
FoodVoice users are invited to send feedback and suggestions to marketing@calrest.org.
