Billed as Woodstock for restaurant industry executives interested in technology, FSTEC will kick off its 18th year running Sept. 21 at the New Orleans Sheraton. The event will convene top foodservice executives and technology companies to discuss the latest digital innovations and opportunities for impacting the restaurant business.
Event attendees will be able to experience exhibitions from major technology companies and upstarts alike – Hewlett-Packard, Kronos, NEC, Olo and Panasonic, just to name a few.
Keynote topics will cover everything from cloud technology and mobile loyalty programs to branding and location-based marketing while conference-goers have the option to select differing group events dependent on restaurant type. Major speakers include top executives from Dunkin’ Donuts, Wendy’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Technomic and the Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group.
In a first for the event, CSP Business Media will integrate its Charitable Alliance of Restaurant and Retail Executives (CARRE) Foundation with the aim of taking on a leadership role through fostering more communal and socially-responsible relationship with conference attendees. The CARRE Foundation has designated fellow CRA partner Round It Up America (RIUA) as its spotlighted charity for the event.
