Having already announced the venue and the title sponsor of the 2014 Culinary Clash, the California Restaurant Association Education Foundation (CRAEF) has locked-in 11 exciting competitors for this year’s culinary throw down and fundraiser.
“We are so excited to have the support of these exemplary brands and look forward to seeing the teams get in the spirit of the event as they train,” CRAEF Executive Director Alycia Harshfield said.
Each team – made up of corporate chefs, executives and a ProStart student – will have 45 minutes to prepare an amuse bouche and an entrée. While competitors are allowed to bring their own proteins, each team must incorporate a designated Coca-Cola product like Odwalla Lime Base and Cherry Coke. A mystery ingredient will also be supplied by ProAct.
The third annual Culinary Clash is a marquee event for CRAEF, which will take place Aug. 17 at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center.
