Last week the California Restaurant Association (CRA) partnered with CRA member, The Catch, in Anaheim to hold a restaurant roundtable discussion with key state legislators from the region. About 30 owners and operators were present for the discussion with Assemblymembers Daly, Medina, Calderon, and a representative from Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva’s office. The event was a regional draw as it pulled elected officials and restaurant operators from Riverside, Orange, and parts of Los Angeles County.
The event was a success by all accounts and was the third of its type this year. These legislators have been very helpful to the CRA on a number of policy fronts and have the opportunity to potentially serve for up to 12-years in the Assembly, which allows tremendous opportunity for the CRA and restaurant community to continue to build upon these solid relationships. The CRA thanks our gracious hosts at The Catch in Anaheim for their hospitality and for providing a beautiful location for the meeting that was centrally located for the four legislative districts.
