Mariann Costello nominated as CRA Board of Directors second vice chair

(SACRAMENTO, May 11, 2010) – The California Restaurant Association Board of Directors nominated Mariann Costello as second vice chair at its April 27 meeting. Costello is vice president of Scoma’s Restaurant Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco.

With more than 25 years experience in the restaurant industry, Costello has served as president of the Golden Gate Restaurant Association and president of the San Francisco Taxicab Commission.

In addition to the California Restaurant Association Board of Directors, Costello holds positions on the Golden Gate Restaurant Association, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco Convention and Visitor’s Bureau boards of directors, as well as a member of the National Restaurant Association Conserve Action Committee, and a Trustee of the Golden Gate Restaurant Association Scholarship Foundation.In 2009, she was selected by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the Most Influential Women in Business in the Bay Area, and inducted in the Forever Influential Honor Roll in 2010.
