CRA Los Angeles Chapter Sponsors Red Cross Annual Celebrity Chefs Event

Norwalk, Calif. – The California Restaurant Association (CRA) Los Angeles Chapter today sponsored the Red Cross Rio Hondo Chapter’s 16th Annual Celebrity Chef event, which took place at the Norwalk Marriott Hotel. This event has become a community tradition and one of the area’s most popular events. The finest local culinary artists are invited to share their fabulous cuisines, creative recipes and inspiring presentations. An estimated 750 people attended this year’s event.
 
This is the first year that the Los Angeles Chapter of the CRA has been a sponsor of this event aimed at raising money to provide relief to the victims of local disasters.
 
“We are proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Celebrity Chef event,” said Tony Palermo of Tony P’s Dockside Grill in Marina del Rey and CRA Los Angeles Chapter President. “This event really brings the community together to celebrate the great show these chefs put on and raise money for the local Red Cross chapter. It’s a great event and an even greater cause.”
 

The proceeds raised at the Celebrity Chefs event go toward providing food, shelter and basic items for families affected by disasters. This year’s event goal is to raise $40,000.
