Sacramento, Calif. – The California Restaurant Association (CRA) today opened the doors of its new headquarters located on the 20th floor of Sacramento’s newest highrise building at 621 Capitol Mall. The CRA is one of two equity investors in the U.S. Bank Tower project and is the first tenant to move into the building.

“This was an extraordinary investment opportunity which will help us continue to grow our association and our visibility at the State Capitol, further benefiting the entire industry,” said Jot Condie, CRA President and CEO. “We see this move as a crucial long-term investment for our membership.”

Located at 621 Capitol Mall, the CRA’s new office utilizes a unique floor plan that was developed to enhance the work areas of all employees. Nearly all of the floor-to-ceiling windows stream natural light into common employee areas rather than only management offices. The space features two glass conference rooms with views of the Tower Bridge and the Sacramento River. A state-of-the-art café with a magnificent view of the State Capitol will serve multiple purposes as a break area, meeting space and for future CRA functions and events.

The CRA moved from its 10th Street location, which the association purchased in 1999 when it moved its headquarters to Sacramento from Los Angeles. The CRA’s investment in the new building is a continuation of its long-term goal to invest in the revitalization of the Sacramento area. The U.S. Bank Tower is Sacramento’s first Class A office tower of its size in more than a decade.
