Main assumes leadership of CRAEF Board

Tucker W. “Bill” Main, a nationally-recognized food service management consultant, former restaurateur and certified professional speaker, was recently named Chairman of the Board for the California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (CRAEF).

Under Main’s direction, CRAEF will continue to move its high school initiative forward through increased secondary education and training.

Main started his restaurant career with the original “fern bar,” Henry Africa's in San Francisco. He went on to develop and own three restaurants during his career, most notably, The Shore Bird, a Cape Cod-style seafood restaurant located just south of San Francisco. An FCSI certified consultant and past director, he has worked for more than 800 clients in 45 states and gives 30 speeches a year as a certified speaking professional.
