Darden’s James Martin named CRAEF chairman of the board
The California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (CRAEF) is pleased to announce the installment of James Martin, director of operations for Darden Restaurants in the greater Los Angeles area, as its chairman of the board. He succeeded Past Chairman Carl Winston.
A 30-year industry veteran, Martin also has worked as a chef at the Hungry I, a fine-dining Mediterranean restaurant, and the Wildflower Northern Italian Restaurant, both in Utah.
“The restaurant industry provides excellent career opportunities in California and CRAEF is helping prepare our young people to step into leadership positions with both education and experience,” Martin said.
