CRA Sacramento Chapter Sponsors Event to Raise Funds for Culinary Program Expansion

Sacramento, Calif. – The California Restaurant Association (CRA) Sacramento chapter pledged $10,000 to the Forks & Corks 2008 event being held at the American River College (ARC) campus Saturday, May 10 at 5:30 p.m. The elegant event will benefit the ARC Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management Building Capital Campaign. The chapter’s Board of Directors will be on hand to support the event, the ARC program and the students.

“We are proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Forks and Corks event,” said Jeff Newland of Il Fornaio and CRA Sacramento chapter President. “This event really brings the community together to celebrate the future of the industry. It’s a great event and an even greater cause.”

The 2008 Forks and Corks event will be held at the ARC campus on the North side of the Oak Café. Tickets for the event are $100 per person.
