CRA Educational Foundation Congratulates Jerry Chesser on ACF Educator of the Year Award
Sacramento, Calif. – The California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (CRAEF) congratulates long time CRA member and CRAEF supporter, Jerry Chesser on his recent American Culinary Federation (ACF) Chef Educator of the Year Award. Chesser is a professor at The Collins School of Hospitality Management at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a member of the ACF Southern California Inland Empire Chefs & Cooks Association. Chesser is also the vice-chair of the CRAEF Board of Directors.
The ACF Chef Educator of the Year Award pays tribute to an active culinary educator whose knowledge, skills and expertise have enhanced the image of the professional chef, and who, by example, has given leadership, guidance and direction to students seeking a career in the culinary profession.
Chesser is the ACF’s Western Regional Conference award recipient. He will compete against his regional counterparts for the national title at the 2007 ACF National Convention in Orlando, July 21-24.
