California Restaurant Association North State Chapter Recognizes Industry Excellence
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 5, 2008
Redding, Calif. – Top honors were handed out Monday night at the California Restaurant Association (CRA) North State chapter’s 2008 Golden Plate Awards dinner, which took place at the Win-River Casino. This year’s event focused on excellence within the industry and presented awards honoring community service as well as industry employees and Restaurateur of the Year.
“This year we wanted to do something a little different. We wanted to bring the area’s restaurant industry together to celebrate the great things we are doing in the community,” said CRA North State chapter President Bruce Dean of Black Bear Diners, Inc. “These awards are about more than being the “best” in a given category, they are acknowledging those in the industry that have made outstanding contributions.”
Ballots were sent to CRA members and non-members in California's northernmost counties including Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity.
The following is a listing of those honored with Community Service Awards:
