On Friday, April 3 at the Hilton Anaheim, the California Restaurant Association and the California State University hosted Experience Hospitality: Orange County 2015. Experience Hospitality brought together aspiring young students, the hospitality industry and partners in higher education. Roughly 200 Southern California high school ProStart® students participated in this half-day event featuring a CSU student panel, tours of hospitality venues in Anaheim and a networking lunch. Students also received information on the California State University, community colleges and financial aid.
The purpose of the event is to increase high school students' exposure to the hospitality industry and provide them with resources to take the next step towards college and career.
Students received behind-the-scenes tours of local top venues in Anaheim. The tours highlight the diversity, size and opportunity in the hospitality industry.
